My job at UWEX entailed taking new and existing correspondence study courses and investigating ways to develop them into online courses. This was back in 1995-97 when the whole concept of taking a course via the Internet was very, very new. Movement Explorations Dance: Creative Dance for Children was one of the courses I worked on. Because people were so new to the online experience at that time, detailed instructions had to be included within the text so that students (and instructors) could learn to navigate through the courses. Eventually, the department shifted their online course development to the Lotus Notes platform, and more of my time was spent learning how to implement custom graphics within the Lotus Notes classroom format.
