BY-LAWS AND PROCEDURES
Purpose:
The "Ambassadors" consist of a group of 21 member volunteers whose purpose is threefold:
- To create a "special events" committee which, on the behalf of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, attends events such as ribbon cuttings, open houses, dedication ceremonies, and change of ownership parties in order to promote goodwill.
- To boost Chamber membership, and refer those interested in learning more about the Chamber to the membership development department.
- To make phone contact and/or personal contact with other Chamber members: welcoming new members, and inviting all members to various Chamber/Chamber Member events.
Benefits to Committee Members:
Being an Ambassador is an opportunity to:
- get involved with the Chamber,
- meet new and exiting members,
- interact with the community,
- gain recognition for themselves and their business,
- "win" rewards in the Ambassador recognition/incentive system.
