Safe Night USA - Video Conference

It's a national satellite video conference. It's live. It's interactive. It's informative. It's fun.

On March 3, 1999 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Safe Night USA will train thousands of people across the country in how to plan a local Safe Night. This is the chance to bring together organizations and volunteers from your community to get step-by-step instructions and begin organizing Safe Nights in preparation for the national event in June.

During the video conference, participants will:
	See successful Safe Nights.
	Get great ideas for activities.
	Watch conflict resolution demonstrations.
	Hear from experienced Safe Night planners of all ages.
	Have time for local discussion and planning.
	Receive a tool kit for planning a local Safe Night.

Who Should Attend? Anyone interested in planning a community Safe Night: youth, parents, teachers, health care, social service and law enforcement professionals, members of the faith community and anyone else who cares about kids. Interested in Participating? Get on our mailing list and we'll make sure you get the video conference participation registration brochure when it becomes available later this fall. Meanwhile, you can help us make sure there is a video conference site near you. Make a copy of the site registration form included below and share it with your local 4-H or Extension office, public television station or area community college and let them know you would appreciate it if they would make this program available to you. (There is no fee for videoconference site registration. There will be a small fee for participants to help cover the cost of the videoconference.)
