Volunteers are always needed for the:

Zoological Society
Volunteers staff our information hut, where visitors find out about the zoo and what we do. Volunteers also help in our Zoological Society office with data entry, answering phones, and clerical duties.

Special Events

Be a ghoul for Halloween, a ticket-taker for our annual Zoo Benefit, or a member of a planning committee! Here's a chance to use your imagination and organizational skills. Zoo Crew Help teach Zoo School, or introduce some of our zoo animals to community organizations. Other volunteers take animals around the zoo for up-close encounters with visitors. Joining our Zoo Crew requires training, and a commitment to volunteering at least two days a month year-round. For more information on volunteering, call or write the Zoological Society at:
