Reproduction:
Gestation is 33 days, and the mother gives birth to one baby no bigger
than a human thumb. The baby kangaroo spends another 6 to 11 months in
its mother's pouch.
Fact:
Red Kangaroos are nocturnal. The adult males are called "boomers,"
the females are called "blue fliers," and young are called "joeys."
