Rick Emerson Rick Emerson is a caffeine-fueled guy with long hair, a big vocabulary, a passion for 70’s sitcoms and St. Elsewhere plot summaries, a refrigerator box full of movie ticket stubs, and a book collection the Arkansas State Library System would be envious of. In his hometown of Kennewick, Washington, he started out in radio with a mop and bottle of windex at the tender age of 14, and quickly worked his way up to the mike and turntable in the years that followed. By the seasoned age of 20, Rick was done 'spinning the hits' for the country and rock stations that employed him. He decided that his true calling was to speak to the masses, (and not just during the intro to "Achy Breaky Heart".) Rick first claimed the airwaves of Spokane, Washington with a local late-night talk show. The show was so popular, Rick was coaxed into moving onto larger markets, such as Salt Lake City, Utah, where he managed to attract a loyal following---and get banned from the State Capitol for life.
