Hello, I come from this "hick town" as some would call it...Juneau, Wisconsin. HEY WTDY For those of us who work all day and night long , get better radio waves at night and longer distance too..because when I listen to COAST TO COAST AM and DREAMLAND with ARTBELL all I hear is a bunch of static crap and that wierd whistling sound...and play "RE RUNS" of the previous night of ART BELL at 5:00 PM (it will give you better listeners, trust me!) Lets look at who Rosie (Sly's soundbytes) really is, Rosie doesnt believe in hunting to begin with, Rosie donates large amounts of money to PETA, it is known PETA has ties to the ALF (Animal Liberation Front). The ALF is listed by the FBI as a terrorist organization who are responsible for bombings within this country. I hope Sly continues pounding on Rosie simply because of being a hypocrate. Without the Second Amendment there wouldnt be a First Amendment and with the war on "Joe Camel" you see the beginnings of losing the right to speech. Keep on pounding away Sly. Valerie, GET A REAL LIFE!

Valerie, you poor thing. How miserable you must be having to tune in to a talk show and have to listen to a voice that sounds like of all things, a girl. Personally, I choose to listen to the words a person has to say rather than the voice pitch. Of course I was not born with all perfect qualities such as you probably were, so it doesnt bother me as much as it does you. Maybe you could start a movement of sorts to rid the radio nationwide of the person with the highest pitched voice until all we are left with is Larry "I never met a wierdo I didn't like" King.Wouldn't that be fun. Dan, you are a breath of fresh air. I've always preferred listening to people I think I would enjoy living next door to. You seem like that sort of guy.Keep up the good work. You may have lost a whiney listener, but you gained a content one. Score one for the good guy.

To SLY. The 2nd amendment has NOTHING to do with a person's right to bear arms. Briefly, it has to do with the state's being able to defend themselves from the national govt. shld a Hitler like pres. emerge. There's much more to this if you'd like to talk let me know. I detest your radio station because one of my co-workers who is tuned in to WTDY plays her radio so loud that it gives me a headache and makes it difficult for me to concentrate on my job duties. She knows it bothers me and has stated that she is not going to turn it down, that she is leaving it right where it is. If I complain to management, it will only make an ugly situation worse. She is having a negative impact on your station. Please tell her to be an adult and considerate of others.

How can Dan Burns have a radio talk show??? He sounds so immature. He doesn't complete sentences, mumbles, is hard up for topics, and possibly has the highest pitched male voice on the radio. Hearty laugh? No way, sounds like an eight year old girl's laugh. WTDY has lost another listener!

The theme for this year's convention is "Equality for Minority Parties How Do We Make it Happen?" Also speaking at the convention is Jim Mueller, Past-Chairman of the Libertarian Party in Wisconsin. Mueller will address "Debate Legislation and Instant Runoff Elections." I would just like to tell you something. When Deb left, I was pretty upset. But..... I HAVE NEVER LAUGHED SO MUCH AT A RADIO as I do when Dan Burns is on. He and all of the people make my drive home great. My husband, who has never liked talk radio is now addicted to the show. Thank all of you for doing such a great job! Heeeeyyy Dan! My wife and I love the show!! It makes us laugh on the way home from work, and usually puts us in a good mood for the remainder of the evening. I was dismayed by Matt and Lori's review of the Infiniti G 20 on April 10. I test drove a G 20 last month and enjoyed it very much. Perhaps they should have tested a 5 speed like I drove. It was not slow as they claim their automatic transmission car was. And I cannot imagine where they came up with their comments about the buzzy engine. I think the buzzing was tiny pebbles rattling around in Ms. Skelton's head. I hope she listens to a recording of the show so she can be suitably embarassed by her juvenile rantings. I had always admired the professionalism exhibited by Matt Joseph. I wish Lori would strive to meet that standard.

I'm really enjoying your local programs! Sly is outrageous, and Dan is funny. "All About Cars" is informative, and "Boo and Peetie" are not to be believed. Thanks for hosting so many interesting programs all week long. I find myself listening to your station more and more!
